Public policies and European integration
This program includes projects aimed at researching the process of Europeanization of Montenegrin public policies, and monitoring the process of Montenegro’s accession to the European Union, but also at initiatives that proactively advocate Montenegro’s membership in the EU.
This program is also aimed at studying the development of European policies, studying the crises that the European Union is facing, and considering the future development of the European Union, with a special emphasis on the future of its enlargement policy. Projects and initiatives under this program are aimed at:
- achieving European and international standards and harmonization of the national legislative framework in all areas important for the process of Montenegro’s integration into the EU, with special emphasis on judicial reform, efficiency and transparency of institutions, strengthening civil society and social protection, media freedom, consumer protection and the patient, and other areas relevant to the process;
- conducting activities to raise awareness and educate citizens on foreign policy, security and defense issues, including NATO;
- conducting activities in the field of strengthening culture, cultural cooperation, spreading multiculturalism and dialogue.
