The Science and Education program is primarily aimed at creating a better scientific environment in Montenegro, and the affirmation of young researchers and scientists, in order to create perspectives for their faster and more dynamic development.

Through the implementation of various projects in this area, SOCEN will act proactively in order to create the best possible framework and platform that will connect the scientific and business community in Montenegro. Eminent experts, professors and lecturers engaged in SOCEN will develop guidelines, through various analyzes and research, in order to create the best possible legal framework and further improve the field of science and education in our society. Through projects within this program, various types of non-formal education, workshops, round tables will be planned, in order to support capacity building, both state institutions and civil society organizations and the business community, and support the development of quality innovative ideas.

Also, within this program, projects will be aimed at strengthening the cooperation of scientific and research institutions from Montenegro and the region with similar institutions from Europe and the world, in order to provide a chance for successful practices to develop in our society.

SOCEN aims to strengthen the activism and social engagement of young people in creating public policies, initiating non-formal education programs, strengthening their skills and digital competencies, awakening innovation and creativity in young people, and enhancing their leadership skills.

A significant number of eminent experts, university professors and lecturers, associates, and extremely talented and active students engaged in SOCEN in various positions are dedicated to the development of youth policies to build and educate young people, who will be the most important state and social functions in the future. , and actively participate in improving the quality of life in Montenegro.

Projects and initiatives under this program are aimed at:

• greater opportunities for scientific training of young researchers and scientists;
• increasing the social activism of young people;
  strengthening the critical thinking and entrepreneurial spirit of young people;
• developing a democratic school culture, a culture of dialogue, multiculturalism and tolerance, acceptance of diversity and coexistence with members of different minority communities and other European values;
• prevention of radicalism and extremism among young people;
• initiating cooperation and exchange programs with young people from the countries of the region and the EU;
• informing young people about European and Euro-Atlantic integration, European mobility and youth exchange programs;
  creating an environment in Montenegro to which young people return;
• implementation of activities aimed at improving information and education, as well as improving their position in society, and the level of youth employment in Montenegro, as well as providing support to creative ideas of young people in order to implement them.
