A Balkan academic network has been formed between the faculties of political science from Podgorica, Belgrade and Sarajevo

  Sociological Center of Montenegro – SOCEN, Humanities Studies, University of Donja Gorica in Podgorica, Faculty of Political Science, University of Belgrade and Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Sarajevo signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on the project “European Identity and European Value System as a point of connection of the Western Balkans” ”, financially supported by the Western Balkans Regional Fund.

The project entitled “European Identity and the European Value System as a Connecting Point for the Western Balkans” of the Sociological Center of Montenegro was supported by the Western Balkans Fund in the third regional call for project proposals:

The partners participating in the implementation of the project together with SOCEN are the Humanities of the University of Donja Gorica, the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Belgrade and the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Sarajevo.

Info day of the Ministry of Defense and the Army of Montenegro

We invite all interested students to attend the Info Day on the competitions of the Ministry of Defense for education at foreign military academies, opportunities for voluntary military service and employment in the Army of Montenegro.

The presentation will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2020 from 10 am to 11 am, in the main hall of the University of Donja Gorica.

The info day is organized within the project “Military Call – Opportunity for Youth” which the Sociological Center of Montenegro SOCEN is implementing in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense of Montenegro.

Elected members of the Young Researchers Club

In April this year, the Sociological Center of Montenegro – SOCEN announced a competition for the admission of young researchers / students who will be engaged in the Club of Young Researchers. 33 applications were received for the competition, of which, after reviewing the submitted documentation, 15 candidates were interviewed.

Niksic high school students won first place in the quiz "Military call - an opportunity for young people"

Students of the Niksic high school “Stojan Cerovic” won today the first place in the knowledge competition called “Military call – an opportunity for young people”, organized by the NGO Sociological Center of Montenegro – SOCEN. The competition included about 60 high school students from all over Montenegro, with the aim of bringing young people closer to all activities in the domain of the Montenegrin Army, but also important strategic documents, such as the Strategic Defense Review, Long-Term Defense Development Plan 2019-2028 and Human Resources Management Strategy. and the Army of Montenegro.

COMPETITION - Two-month scholarship research of young researchers / students

Young researchers – students of basic and postgraduate studies of Montenegrin universities, in the field of social and natural sciences have the right to apply.

The internship program aims to provide young researchers / students with training within 2 months in some of the Montenegrin companies, and thus give them the opportunity to get to know the development opportunities in the business community, and to new ideas and innovative, scientific approach to improve the business ideas of companies.

INVITATION TO EMPLOYERS - who are interested in admitting a student / young researcher to a two-month paid internship program

This call is intended for all companies in Montenegro that are interested in the program of the Sociological Center of Montenegro, which offers a two-month paid internship to young researchers – students of undergraduate and graduate studies of Montenegrin universities, in the field of social sciences and natural sciences.

The internship program aims to provide young researchers / students with training within 2 months in some of the Montenegrin companies, and thus give them the opportunity to learn about development opportunities in the business community, and to improve with new ideas and innovative, scientific approach. business ideas of companies.

Military call - an opportunity for young people

Within the program of Public Policy and European Integration, SOCEN is implementing a project called Military Call – an opportunity for young people. This project focuses on activities that will ensure greater information and education of young people on foreign policy, security and defense issues, including issues on NATO. In accordance with that, the project is designed to popularize the military vocation among young people in Montenegro through various types of activities, all in accordance with the goals set by the Human Resources Management Strategy in the Ministry of Defense and the Army of Montenegro.
