SOCEN-Sociological Center of Montenegro is an independent, non-governmental, non-profit think-tank organization founded in 2012 by a group of university professors, experts, researchers and scientists in the field of sociology, law, political science, methodology, European law, in order to conduct sociological research to examine key social phenomena, advocate for solutions to improve the position of the most vulnerable categories of society, and contribute to the rule of law and equal opportunities for all citizens.

Today, SOCEN brings together a large number of experienced researchers, scientists, university professors, as well as young successful associates who work to strengthen and expand programs and activities, and who are primarily focused on advocating change leading to a more transparent, open, democratic and governance-based society rights.
